The Pestle & Mortar Daily Skincare Routine for All Skin Types

There’s no point in having the right products if you are using them incorrectly. Here’s a quick guide to the correct order of things

 The Order Of Things

Cleanse –Tone – Spritz  – Eye cream – Serum – Moisturiser

Double Cleanse – Tone –  Spritz  – Eyecream – Serum – Night Oil

How To

The Double Cleanse, Erase & Renew

First Step, Erase. Massage a small amount into the skin before removing with the muslin side of the double-sided cloth dampened with warm water.

Second Step, Renew. Massage a single pump of this illuminating gel cleanser into the skin to polish and perfect the skin. Remove using the cotton side of the double-sided cloth dampened with warm water.

Your skin is now cleansed, nourished, polished and ready to receive.

Tone, Exfoliate

Once your skin is perfectly cleansed, it’s time to tone. An exfoliating toner will unclog pores, remove dead skin cells and hugely enhance the absorption of subsequent products. Apply one or two pumps of Exfoliate to a cotton pad and sweep over face and neck, avoiding the eye area.

The Spritz, Balance

Close eyes and spritz this magnesium enriched mist over face and neck. Remember – you can spritz all day to refresh and calm.

The Eye Cream, Recover

Using your ring finger, gently pat approximately a sunflower-seed amount of Recover around the eye area starting at the outermost corner and working inwards towards the orbital bone. Never apply eye-cream to the upper eyelid or too close to the lower lid.

The Serum, Pure Hyaluronic Serum

It’s now time to lock in the moisture from that spritz by applying Pestle and Mortar’s Pure Hyaluronic Serum. Using the dropper, dispense one or two drops into the hand and gently massage into squeaky clean damp skin.

The Moisturiser, Hydrate

Use a pump of the squalane rich Hydrate moisturiser in the morning. Massage gently into face and neck.

 The Night Oil, Superstar

Use one pump of Superstar retinoid night oil at night. Gently massage into the face and neck with upward strokes, avoiding the eye area.
