Our Founder
As a busy mother-of-five, Sonia Deasy knew firsthand the struggle of finding a simple skincare routine that works. Drawing on her family's six generations of Indian natural healing wisdom, Sonia founded Pestle & Mortar in 2014.
Her mission was to create uncomplicated skincare that delivers visible results. By blending ancient healing traditions with modern science, she created formulas that work for everyone.
